A bit about me

I joined Synchrony in April 2014 and experienced many different positions in the organization. I have gained and created opportunities for my growth and professional development and loving every minute of it! One of my passions is fostering relationships and giving back to the community. A graduate of the 2014 STEP Program, STEP Lead for two years, recent graduate of 2017 TDP, and now the XLR8 Program Lead in Kettering.
Outside of work, I enjoy doing community service projects with my sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc and helping to make a difference in the county I reside and surrounding counties. In addition to all those great things I love, I married my best friend on March 25th, 2017!

Critical Experiences

Throughout my time at Synchrony and holding various roles, I would have to say some of my biggest critical experiences coupled with experiences in role would be allowing me to identify and create opportunities for others to grow professionally in their roles through my involvement with AAN+. Being a part of this Diversity Network has really allowed me to shine and identify where my true passions lie and that is developing talent.

The most valuable experience that I have had thus far in my career development/journey was being able to develop and launch the very first Empowerment Station for Enterprise Operations. Empowering others to identify process improvement opportunities and solutions for the business to not only increase the customer and merchant experience but most importantly, the employee experience. Being in a role that specifically requires change, required someone to be that change agent for Enterprise Operations and it was an amazing experience that I will never forget.

The best part of my role is the fact that I every project and/or initiative that I work on for my clients, luckily requires me to meet new people every day! My professional network continues to grow in addition to indirectly learning and gaining experience in other functions outside of Client Development. Additionally, the business is always working on new and innovative products for our partners, so I am always learning something new!
